We take pleasure in inviting fencers from around the world to our 5th anniversary tournament. The tournament will take place in the Bolton Arena in Greater Manchester, on the last Saturday in September.
It is the only cadet-ranking tournament outside the British Championships and aims to introduce young fencers in this country to open competition without the stress of being plunged straight into a senior event. This year we are making a concerted effort to bring in young fencers from Europe.
Bolton Arena, a 21st century sports centre just 40 minutes from Manchester Airport was built for the Commonwealth Games in 2002. The competition will be run in the main arena with equipment provided by Allstar UK. The final will staged in the Sports Education Theatre, this has seating for 250 spectators and a state-of-the-art audio visual system.
